Ideal Candidate

Doner Haus is seeking hands-on owner-operators who are fully committed to running the business day-to-day. For single-unit franchises, this is not a semi-absentee or passive investment opportunity. Active ownership is required to maintain the strong operational standards and financial performance that define our brand.

However, candidates pursuing a multi-unit development agreement may qualify for a semi-absentee or even fully-absentee ownership model. Our highly efficient system allows one hired general manager to oversee up to four locations, making the payroll economics viable at scale. 

Specifically:

  • Owner involvement is required for single-unit franchises. Franchisees must be present and actively managing the restaurant on a daily basis.
  • This is a full-time operational commitment unless part of a multi-unit development plan with appropriate infrastructure.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to maintain high standards in food quality, customer service, and team management.
  • Customer-focused mentality with the ability to engage with customers, build relationships, and create a loyal following.
  • Operational excellence by following the Doner Haus system, ensuring consistency in food preparation, cleanliness, and service.
  • Financial and business acumen to manage costs, labor, and profit margins while growing the business.
  • Commitment to brand standards, upholding Doner Haus’ reputation, quality, and operational guidelines.
  • Team leadership skills to hire, train, and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • High energy and passion for serving high-quality doner kebabs and delivering an exceptional experience.


Additional experience is beneficial but not required. Prior restaurant or QSR experience, the ambition to expand into multiple locations, and strong local market knowledge can provide an advantage.
