Initial Training 

New franchisees will go through three stages of training, consisting of 98 hours in the classroom and 40 hours on the job learning.

During this time, we cover everything an owner needs to know to be successful, including daily operations, marketing, sales, kitchen and bath design, and job site processes. 

On-Going Support 

  • The Cabinet IQ corporate support team assists at the new location before and during the grand opening. 

  • Upon opening, the corporate support team will conduct weekly calls and help with ongoing design and support. 

  • Cabinet IQ real estate partnership assists in finding a location ideal to open a Cabinet IQ location. 

  • Corporate will guide Franchisees in building and maintaining relationships with contractors, interior designers, and architects. 

Marketing Strategies 

  • Cabinet IQ corporate team assists with outbound cold calling to set appointments for homeowners, contractors and interior designers. 

  • Corporate Call Center will reach out to every person in a franchisee’s area who has pulled a remodeling permit to pitch the business  

  • The corporate team will provide additional outreach methods to prospects like mailing and cold-calling neighbors of previous customers. 

  • Corporate oversees SEO and gives owners access to a third-party agency that runs Google and Facebook ads. 

  • Automated post card mailers to nearest homes around active Cabinet IQ projects.

Function & Daily Taska of the Owner-Operator

Owner-operators are hands on daily in the business and they choose to focus on either sales and design or operations. Their tasks often include: 

  • Being involved in design and sales, or operations and administration
  • Making home visits to collect measurments and guide customers through the design and sales proccess
  • Meeting with customers in the showroom and discussing all the different options available within the constraints of a project or space
  • Monitoring scorecards to make short and long term business decisions
  • Overseeing jobs as they are being completed
  • Interacting with subcontractors 


Function & Daily Tasks of the Semi-Absentee Owner  

Semi absentee owners will hire a skilled and knowledgeable General Manager to oversee the day-to-day tasks, allowing the owner to oversee the business from a high level. Task could include:  


  • Overseeing your General Manager
  • Managing payroll and other high-level admin tasks
  • Setting and monitoring company metrics and goals
  • Organizing meetings for company employees
  • Organizing attendance at public events 
  • Scalling the business
